Reading Resources
Why is reading so much fun and so easy for some students and so challenging and seemingly painful for others? Children develop skills at different rates as well as being equipped for some tasks more than others. How can children who live in the same house have such a variety of gifts, talents, and struggles. The good news, sometimes students just need a little bit of time and encouragement. Here are some resources for you and your student to support you on your journey to a love of reading. I do believe reading is the backbone of learning, it is an important skill to master. Below, just click on the picture below to go to a resource that is described below the picture - if you have a great reading resource online, please share and I will place the link below for other families. ENJOY!
K12 Grades 3 - 5 Novel Choices - you choose 4 each year in the Literature Course! Click on the file below to see the novel choices. Choosing a few from the library to allow your student the opportunity to explore the book is a great idea before you commit to a novel choice. You can change choices as well.
