WRITING RESOURCES
Writing is the number one concern I hear from parents. Some of their concerns are:
1. Their student finds writing painful.
2. Their student just hates to write.
3. Their student's writing does not accurately reflect their knowledge base.
4. The parent does not know how to assess the student's writing.
5. Their student forgets rules of writing they should know.
This certainly does not include EVERYTHING that is expressed, but you might find that you share one or more of the above concerns. Please do not fret. Your student took many years to make the letters on a page make sense up in their brain, and likewise, it will take many years to make the thoughts in their head make sense on paper. It is realistic to understand that it will come with time. YOU ARE NOT ALONE! Now, having said that, there are parents whose students LOVE to write. The resources included on this page are for BOTH of these types of learners. Just click on a picture below and you will launch to a helpful website described below the picture.
